    Carol Frost studied at the Sorbonne and earned degrees from the State University of Oneonta and Syracuse University. She is the author of eleven books of poems and is the director of Winter with the Writers, a Festival of the Literary Arts. She has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and won several Pushcart Prizes. She holds the Theodore Bruce and Barbara Lawrence Alfond Chair of English at Rollins College, where she directs the Winter with the Writers program.

    Read In @ Your Lewis & Clark Library Help the library celebrate Banned Books Week and the freedom to choose what you read! Participate in the Library’s Read In on Thursday, September 25. Participants will spend time reading from a book or graphic novel of their choice and can choose to share their experience in writing or in a photograph.     Superheroes: A Never-Ending Battle Join us for a screening on Thursday, September 25, of this PBS documentary that chronicles the fascinating history of superheroes through comic books. This film is an excellent choice for this year's Banned Books Week with it's focus on Comic Books, and a great teaser for the great comic book themed programs coming to our library in January 2015!
